SHARP Survey Reports
The reports in this section summarize the findings from the Utah Prevention Needs Assessment Survey that is part of the Student Health and Risk Prevention (SHARP) Statewide Survey. The survey is given every two years, to students in grades 6, 8, 10, and 12 in most public and certain charter school districts across Utah. The survey was designed to measure adolescent substance use, anti-social behavior, and the risk and protective factors that predict these adolescent problem behaviors.
The Utah SHARP Web Tool was developed by Bach Harrison LLC in collaboration with the Utah Office of Substance Use and Mental Health (SUMH). The purpose of the Utah SHARP Web Tool is to present data and information provided by the state of Utah’s Student Health and Risk Prevention (SHARP) Statewide Survey. Through this website, users can view data that will be useful for planning and evaluating substance abuse and delinquency prevention activities, as well as view specific risk and protective factors. Access the SHARP Web Tool.
