Access Prevention Resources
The Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health (DSAMH) promotes and supports community centered, evidence-based prevention. We aim to provide trusted technical assistance and oversight as communities apply evidence-based prevention in their communities.
To this end, DSAMH offers professional training and certification opportunities on an ongoing basis.
One such training is the three day Substance Abuse Prevention Specialist Training (SAPST), which can be provided to communities upon request for groups of 12 or larger.
Coaching for those implementing the Communities That Care framework is also available.
If you would like to request a training or have questions regarding technical assistance, please contact: Heidi Peterson.
